Celtic Gold – An Irish Song and Dance Journey was recorded before a live audience in one of Ireland’s oldest and historic buildings, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin in January 2018. This building traces its history back to Ireland’s patron saint, which the church is named after and where it is believed, St. Patrick christened Irish people.
The show is a celebration of Irish song and dance through the ages. The origins of the show are from the West of Ireland now often referred to as the Wild Atlantic Way.
The male principal dancer James Greenan, formally of Riverdance and multiple world title holder along with female principal dancer Katrina O’Donnell, formally of Lord of the Dance are joined by the troupe of professional dancers that also include world and international Irish dance champions.
The musicians are all from the West of Ireland and lead by music director Fergal OMurchu.
